I first met this sweetness when he was just shy of one month old – as a precious preemie, he had not even reached his due date when we had our in home session!  If someone told me that I could only pick one type of photography to focus on, hands down, it would be lifestyle newborn photography.  There is just something so magical about those first few days at home.  Oh, and if you’re wondering where you can get your hands on one of those adorable baby hats, looks no further than www.gmolly.com .

I’ve been waiting to find the time to blog this fun event, but to say I’ve been busy with fall portrait sessions is an understatement!  Remember to checkout my Facebook Fan page to see my latest work.

This was my first time shooting a bar mitzvah and when I said it was a fun event, I meant it!  I think I was most impressed by Max’s mom and her ability to pull the celebrity movie star theme together.  And the sundae and candy bar?!  It made me want to be 13 again.  It was an honor to share in this family’s special day.

This session sits in a special place in my heart.  We were originally scheduled for a family session, but Daddy was deployed overseas earlier than expected.  We had no problem turning this into an adorable Mommy and Me session on the Connecticut shoreline, however.  Just look at Courtney.  I don’t think she could take a bad picture if she tried.  I proofed her 70+ photos because they were all too cute not to pass on.  And sweet, handsome Troy who turned one just this month…putting on Daddy’s hat just melted my heart.  I love that our technology is advanced enough for him to see all of the pictures.

It’s busy season and it’s once again been a while since I blogged, but you can always catch some fun sneak peeks of recent sessions on my Facebook page.  I could not wait to have a chance to blog this wedding – my first destination wedding in Burlington, Vermont.  Annnd just to make it even better, it was Labor Day weekend on a boat!  Lake Champlain in so gorgeous, but as you will soon see, it’s got nothing on this couple.  They are expecting identical twin boys in November, and I can’t wait to see what they look like.  I mean, look at these two.  Congratulations!

I’ve been terrible at blogging sessions lately, but let me tell you, there are some incredible ones to share with you from the past month.  And with 8 full sessions and 8 mini sessions lined up for October, I promise I won’t dissapoint!  Where do I even start with this session?  How about this gorgeous mommy, Ute, of Ute-Christin Photography?  She is dear friend and wonderful colleague.  In fact, we are currently booking 2013 weddings together!  And sweet little Maya.  These were taken right before she started to walk and you will get a kick out of her moves toward the end of the post.  Enjoy!
